Injuries continue to accompany driving while intoxicated incidents

Over the course of last night(2/21/2020), officers from the Paso Robles Police Department arrested 4 people for DUI. One of the arrests involved felony charges after Michael Lee Jauregui (pictured below) was involved in a collision with a parked vehicle. Unfortunately, his passenger was injured in the collision.

Jauregui showed signs of alcohol intoxication at the scene and a DUI investigation was conducted. Jauregui was arrested and his blood alcohol level was more than double the legal limit. He was booked in the San Luis Obispo County Jail for felony DUI and related charges.

This was the only DUI stemming from a traffic collision last night. The other 3 DUI arrests resulted from officers conducting traffic stops through the evening.
