According to Business Insider, tests to identify people who have recovered from COVID-19 by searching for coronavirus antibodies in the blood could available in the US within weeks.

As Americans shelter-at-home with little light at the end of the C19 tunnel, questions about herd immunity arise. A test could be coming to shed light on who could be considered immune to COVID-19.

With sheltering in place through April in many regions in the U.S., hope is a hot commodity and a test to provide social confidence for an economy ready to get back to work is in demand.

Positive tests continue to increase as they are confirmed, but many more mild cases go untested with possible immunity built up in individuals who never end up with identifiable symptoms of COVID-19.

A simple test could produce results within 15 minutes to identify immune persons and begin to allow more mobility for populations.
