Paso Robles High School rodeo on the way to Red Bluff

On Sunday, March 3, 23 high school rodeo athletes from grades 6–8 were chosen to be on the CHSRA Magnificent 7 State Finals team. In order to qualify for State Finals, each must be top five of their event, and be a member in good standing, which includes going to rodeos, selling raffle tickets and finishing duties.

Dorothy “Dot” Lefebvre’s Eighteen-Ninety House

April marks the 52nd anniversary for Dot Lefebvre’s Eighteen-Ninety House, a framing shop that has a rich history of its own. Her stately home on Paso’s Westside at 626 16th Street was built in 1890 and was turned around to face 16th Street in 1938. Dot says, “I always called it my Eighteen-Ninety House.”
