Earth Day Celebration by Local Sustainable Leader, Castoro Cellars

Where is a better place to celebrate Earth Day than a winery that is a local leader in sustainable practices? Castoro Cellars will be hosting a two-day event on Saturday April 27th and Sunday April 28th that will combine locally grown organic foods, live music, art displays, a Sunday yoga class and interactive vineyard tours. Castoro currently farms over 1,400 acres of vineyards which are grown 100% organically and SIP (Sustainability in Practice) certified.
On Saturday April 27th, the Castoro tasting room grounds will be transformed into a festival celebrating Earth Day from 12-4PM featuring live music by Dante Marsh, educational demonstrations, vineyard tours, local organic food samples, craft vendors and art. Lunch available for purchase by Bethel Rd. Kitchen & Etto Pasta and sweet treats by Clementine’s Mobile Cookie Cafe. Free admission. Wine Tasting $10/pp. Family-friendly!
On Sunday April 28th, enjoy an Organic Lunch in the Vines by Chef Nick Otto of Bethel Rd. Kitchen, followed by a comprehensive Whale Rock Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting highlighting our certified organic, sustainable and biodynamic vineyard practices. Tours lead by Castoro’s owner Niels Udsen, vineyard manager Kyle Cosgrove and SIP Certified Specialist Beth Lopez. 12-3PM, reservations will be required for Sunday’s event.
Some local vendors and artisans will include; Molefina Olive Oil, Etto Pasta, Grove Provisions, Alle-Pia Salami, Bren’s Original Seasoning Blends, Pistachio Factory, Diane Owens Jewelry and more!
