Proposed Specific Plan Project:
The Olsen – South Chandler Ranch Specific Plan project would permit the development of 356 acres in the southeast corner of Paso Robles. The proposal includes 1,293 residential units, 9,800 square feet of commercial space, a possible elementary school site, and 29,335 square feet of community amenities. Required approvals include a General Plan Amendment, Zoning Amendment, Specific Plan Amendment, Development Plan, Road Abandonment, Oak Tree Removal Permit, Vesting Tentative Tract Maps, and Development Agreements.
The project area is bounded between Sherwood Road, Fontana Road, Linne Road, Hanson Road and Meadowlark Road, in Paso Robles, California.
The City of Paso Robles released the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the Olsen-South Chandler Ranch Specific Plan on October 18, 2019. The 45-day review period concluded on December 2, 2019. The entire DEIR can be downloaded at www.prcity.com/357/CEQA-Documents.
The Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on January 28, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. at the Library Conference Center, 1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles, CA 93446. The Planning Commission will review the project and make a recommendation to the City Council, who will consider the project at a future hearing.
