COVID-19 challenges the local community and global community alike

This is a trying time for our community, and we are working to connect as many people in need to the available resources as possible. This is yet another opportunity for our community to bond and connect. We’ve been through challenges before, but this one is all of a local, regional, national, and global challenge, if not a blowout tragedy.

As a community, we are blessed that so many of us have roots that go back 6 or 7 generations, with the community strength to lend a helping hand to those who have just arrived.

Those who have just arrived did not plan for this any more than we have, and we are going to get through this together. Some of those who just arrived have family members across regional, state, or national borders, and this challenge provides us an opportunity to prove to ourselves and others that our core nature is in service to each other.

In our business of information, we want to connect the heart of this challenge to the bigger picture, and tell the story of those who are connected in our community, and those who are connected to family abroad.

If you, or anyone you know, have family dealing with similar or more severe challenges across the world, we would like to speak with you.
