Your Paso Robles Downtown Main Street Association, the soul of the city, is ready and excited to plunge into this new decade with our continued commitment to keeping downtown the city’s commercial and cultural entertainment destination.

We have been working hard for the past 32 years, building and maintaining our values to create this special, out-of-the-ordinary place for visitors to enjoy and residents to live, work, and play with pride.

Paso Robles is still considered a “small town.” The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don’t know what you’re doing, someone else does. Our shops and restaurants are still independently owned, which keeps that friendly hometown feel. There are fun, unique shops throughout downtown. You owe it to yourself to explore — there is something for everyone. As the ambassador for downtown, I have the privilege of meeting people from all over the world. They are here on vacation, fall in love with Paso, and start planning their next visit.

The 2020 calendar of events for downtown is full and ready for everyone to enjoy. We start with our Valentine Movie Night on Sunday, February 9, at 7 p.m. Park Cinemas, located on the corner of 11th and Pine Streets, will host the movie. The price is $10, which includes free champagne and chocolates or popcorn and a soda. The movie is “The Unsinkable Molly Brown” from 1964. It’s a musical comedy starring Debbie Reynolds as an uneducated mountain girl who leaves her cabin in search of respect, a wealthy husband, and a better life. The movies we show are fun for the whole family, entertaining and a great way to “step out of time” and forget the stress of everyday life. People walk out of the theater lightheartedly and with a smile. Treat yourself, call the Main Street office at 805-238-4103, or stop by and get your tickets. A special thank you to John Rousch, theater owner.
