Paso Robles businesses are gathering at the Inspired Home, Garden & Gourmet Expo of Paso Robles to raise money for local nonprofits. On August 24 and 25, local businesses will be benefiting local nonprofits The Wellness Kitchen & Resource Center and Jack’s Helping Hand in an effort to support those with cancer and special needs.

The Inspired Home, Garden & Gourmet Expo of Paso Robles will be taking place on August 24 and 25, 2019 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Paso Robles Event Center, 2198 Riverside Avenue. Admission and parking are free.

Paso Robles wineries will be hosting $5 wine tastings with all proceeds benefiting The Wellness Kitchen & Resource Center, which will support this nonprofit in providing restorative nutrient-rich food, education, and resources to individuals with critical or chronic conditions.

Participating wineries include Dubost Winery, On Your Left Wine, Saxby Winery, Wine Boss, and Wineries of 46 East.

“There are so many ways people can support The Wellness Kitchen,” said Gina Grieb, executive director of The Wellness Kitchen & Resource Center. “But seeing local wineries come together to uplift our programs has been a blessing.”

Additionally, A.M. Sun Solar will be hosting their frequently held fundraiser to benefit Jack’s Helping Hand, a local nonprofit that assists children with special needs and cancer. Last year, A.M. Sun Solar raised over $10,000 dollars to support Jack’s Helping Hand to help cover the medical and travel costs for one of their employee’s sons, Calin, and other children who need special medical care.

“All through the month of August, we are partnering with Jack’s Helping Hand by donating $250 for every customer who purchases a solar energy system,” said Brian Potter, Director of Marketing for A.M. Sun Solar. “Our goal is to donate $8,000 this year to support their mission to help families with medically fragile children and continue our mission of ‘Growing Communities with the Power of the Sun.’”

The Home, Garden, & Gourmet Expo of Paso Robles will be gathering other local businesses in the community for an inspirational two-day event for the Paso Robles community. Admission and parking are free. For more information, please contact Lani Colhouer at or (805) 772-4600.
