Dignity Health Provides Funds to Food Banks

Dignity Health Central Coast hospitals have partnered to provide nearly $30,000 to the Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County Food Banks during this time of critical need for local low income individuals, unemployed, and those experiencing homelessness.

The California Association of Food Banks serves all counties in California, and this essential funding will be used to support the mission to end hunger in the following ways:

“During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dignity Health Central Coast is proactively supporting vulnerable community members in need,” says Patty Herrera, Manager of Community Health, Dignity Health Central Coast. “As our mission to help the less fortunate, it is especially important during this time to provide crucial funding to our community partners.”
