Everyone can storm the castle in style at the
Halloween Harvest Costume Ball

An eerie green fog descends upon a fortified castle, as brooding alligators stealthily circle the moat. Zombies wander the grounds, preying upon unsuspecting victims. Frightful sounds echo from granite walls.
These are but a preview of the sights and sounds that will emanate from the Halloween Harvest Costume Ball on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27 and 28, from 7 p.m. to midnight on both nights, at Tooth and Nail Winery in Paso Robles.
For those who demand a pull-out-all-the-stops extravaganza, this one promises to knock the socks off all Halloween shindigs with portions of proceeds donated to a good cause. This year’s recipient is must! Charities in Templeton, which empowers and collaborates with existing nonprofits toward long-term philanthropic, regional and sustainable transformation throughout North San Luis Obispo County.
“[The event] a high-end production,” said creator Brad Golden. “This is an adult costume ball for ages 21 and up that immerses you into an experience yet to be seen Paso Robles. The entire evening is interactive and everyone is required to dress the part to complete the effect.”
Guests will arrive to a castle drenched in theatrical lighting, where a menacing headless horseman played by Tommy Harris of Harris Stage Lines will greet visitors at the front gate. If they survive, attendees enter a riveting visual feast with sound effects and dance music all night long by DJ and Master of Ceremonies Paul Thompson.
Mind-blowing magician and mentalist Rich “The Icebreaker” Ferguson, will mingle throughout the castle to bewilder and entertain all. Meanwhile, Sabrina Lovell, an amazingly intuitive psychic and tarot card reader, will provide complimentary readings both evenings.
Movie-worthy custom props and effects will be displayed to evoke a delightfully dreadful atmosphere.
A giant three-foot by six-foot man-eating spider, a rope-driven torture rack, electric chair with secure leather straps — because safety first — and a looming wooden guillotine that guests can sample with an undertaker’s assistance will be part of the chilling Torture Chamber.
Generous costume prizes of $250 each will be awarded for the Scariest, Funniest, Sexiest, Most Original and Best Couple.
General ($100) and VIP ($175) ticket admissions are available, first-come, first-served. Doors open for guests with VIP admission at 7 p.m. General admission guests may arrive at 8 p.m. to enjoy sweet and savory light bites throughout the night, and Tooth and Nail will offer wine for sale.

VIP guest perks include an exclusive Meet-and-Greet with Rich Ferguson and Sabrina Lovell from 7 to 8 p.m., Reserved Table seating, delicious hors d’oeuvres and tableside service. They can even storm the castle with Preferred Parking.
The highlight of the evening will be the high-stakes raffle of Gary Kramer Crusader Deluxe Guitar, valued at $3,000. The winner will come away with the beautiful instrument, personally signed and presented by trailblazing guitar maker Gary Kramer himself. “Over the years, my wife Laura Kramer, a professional Halloween designer, produced the most incredible Halloween sets at our home in West Los Angeles. It drew thousands of spectators every year! Now that we live here in the Central Coast wine country, it’s really exciting to have such a highly polished Halloween event to attend,” said Kramer.
Producer Brad Golden and wife Jennifer Golden have produced various regional events, including the 2016 California Central Coast Blues Jam, which showcased 15 area bands. The couple founded Central Coast Live! and more recently debuted SLO Talk Podcasting Studio in Atascadero.
