PASO ROBLES — The City of Paso Robles, in partnership with Travel Paso, has announced the entertainment lineup for its annual July 4 celebration at Barney Schwartz Park, featuring live music, a patriotic ceremony, and fireworks.
Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with Garden Party, a local band performing classic hits from the 1960s and 1970s, including music inspired by Steely Dan, America and James Taylor.
At 7:15 p.m., Steppin’ Out will take the stage with a dance-focused set featuring hits from artists such as Bruno Mars, Selena and Earth, Wind & Fire.
Following the performances, the event will feature a joint Presentation of Colors led by the North County Veterans Color Guard, including members of Paso Robles American Legion Post 50, Paso Robles VFW Post 10965, Templeton American Legion Post 220, Atascadero VFW Post 2814, and active-duty personnel from Camp Roberts.
Rising country artist and Shandon native Callie Twisselman will then perform the National Anthem, leading into the evening’s fireworks show.
“We wanted to create a moment of unity and gratitude before the celebration in the sky begins,” said Lynda Plescia, event coordinator. “Bringing these veteran groups together on stage, followed by a live performance of the National Anthem, will be an unforgettable highlight of the night.”
Organizers encourage attendees to be seated by 9 p.m. to view the full patriotic ceremony and fireworks finale.
