PASO ROBLES – On Wednesday, Mar. 4, the Paso Robles Police Department and San Luis Obispo Probation Officers performed a multi-agency narcotics arrest in the City of Paso Robles. The agencies conducted a traffic stop on a probationer in the 1000 block of Veronica Drive, Paso Robles.

Officials reported that a passenger in the car, Lowell Henslin, displayed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance and was ultimately arrested. According to an issued statement by the PRPD, State Hospital’s police K-9 “Booker” was “alerted” to a suspicious box inside the car. The box contained approximately five ounces of meth, seven grams of heroin, a scale, packaging material, cash, and a pill capsule containing an unknown powder. Henslin was arrested for drug sales.
