PASO ROBLES — The City of Paso Robles is looking for volunteers to help support its upcoming Fourth of July celebration at Barney Schwartz Park, which will also commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence.
In partnership with Travel Paso, the free community event will begin at 4 p.m. and feature family-friendly activities, a Family Fun Zone, food vendors, live music from two bands, and a fireworks show set to music.
Organizers are seeking approximately 25 volunteers to assist with event operations, including roles such as parking attendants, lake monitors, and access control support. Volunteer shifts will last about two hours each.
In return, volunteers will receive a commemorative event T-shirt, premium parking, and a meal voucher.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the volunteers who help bring this celebration to life each year,” says event coordinator Lynda Plescia. “As we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary, it’s especially meaningful to see our community come together to create a fun, festive, and memorable experience for families to enjoy together.”
