Country Band Scheduled to go “Nowhere Fast” when they take the Stage at 2019 Fair

The California Mid-State Fair is pleased to announce that country music stars Old Dominion have been confirmed to perform in concert on Thursday, July 25 at 7:30 pm. An opening act will be announced at a later date. Old Dominion’s concert will take place in the Chumash Grandstand Arena at the Paso Robles Event Center. This will be Old Dominion’s first-ever performance at the California Mid-State Fair.

Ticket prices for the show are $36, $46, $66, and $81 (Pit & Price Level 1) and will go on sale Friday, February 22, 2019. Tickets will be available starting at 10:00 am online at www.MidStateFair.com or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR (3247), and at 1:00 pm at the California Mid-State Fair box office located at 2198 Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles.

Acclaimed country band Old Dominion is the reigning CMA & ACM “Vocal Group of the Year” and they recently launched their “Make It Sweet Tour” with sold-out back to back weekends.

In the midst of the tour, Old Dominion shared a new track entitled “One Man Band.” With its artful clean guitar and vulnerable vocals, the heartfelt ballad earned praise right out of the gate. People claimed, “Old Dominion is turning up the romance in their brand new track,and the release landed on The Boot’s “8 More Songs You Need to Hear” list. Within just a week, it also impressively leapt past the 1 million-mark on Spotify as well.

By the end of 2018, Old Dominion performed 136 shows and crossed 1.5 million fan impressions within 365 days. Those gigs encompassed their own arena tour, sold out European and Canadians runs, dozens of festivals, and opening for Kenny Chesney on his summer stadium and arena tour. They also took home the award for “Vocal Group of the Year” at the 52nd Annual CMA Awards and at the 53rd Annual ACM Awards. Additionally, the band received a nomination for “Country Duo/Group Artist” at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.
