Two suspects arrested in pharmacy burglaries in Nipomo and Templeton

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office responded early Tuesday morning, on Nov. 4, to a burglary in progress at a pharmacy in the 600 block of W. Tefft Street, Nipomo, resulting in the arrest of two suspects connected to multiple pharmacy burglaries.
At approximately 4:40 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the Nipomo location, and the California Highway Patrol (CHP) assisted in the response. When the CHP officer arrived, the suspects fled on foot. One suspect was apprehended nearby, while the second suspect was later detained following a traffic stop on a related vehicle by sheriff’s deputies.
Investigators determined that both suspects were also responsible for an earlier burglary at a pharmacy in the 1300 block of Las Tablas Road, Templeton. Evidence recovered from the vehicle connected the driver to the Nipomo burglary.
The suspects have been identified as Andre Story, 32, of Los Angeles, and Brandon Williams, 41, of Los Angeles. Both were booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of burglary and conspiracy.
