Templeton Fire and Emergency Services to unveil new department badges

TEMPLETON — Templeton Fire and Emergency Services will unveil its newly redesigned department badges during the Templeton Community Services District Board of Directors meeting Tuesday, Sept. 15.

The new badge design incorporates imagery representing the Templeton community and its history, while honoring the department’s traditions and connection to the community it serves.

Department officials said the badge is intended to represent service, tradition, pride and community, and will allow firefighters to carry a piece of Templeton with them while serving residents.

The new badges will be formally presented to Templeton Fire and Emergency Services personnel during the board meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 15.
