Paso Robles woman killed in rollover crash on Adelaida Road

PASO ROBLES — A 56-year-old Paso Robles woman died Monday afternoon after her vehicle overturned several times on Adelaida Road west of Hidden Mountain Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at about 2:41 p.m. on July 20 in the unincorporated area of San Luis Obispo County.

CHP said Laura Nolascodehernandez was driving a 1999 Acura CL westbound on Adelaida Road at an unknown speed when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle crossed into the eastbound lanes before leaving the south edge of the roadway. The Acura then traveled down an embankment and overturned several times.

Nolascodehernandez suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Investigators said alcohol and drugs are not suspected to have been factors in the crash. The incident remains under investigation by the CHP's Templeton Area office.
