Paso Robles Wine Country virtual auction opens Sept. 14

PASO ROBLES — The Paso Robles Wine Country Virtual Auction will return Sept. 14-23, offering wine lovers the opportunity to bid on wine country experiences while supporting educational scholarships for local students.

Bidding opens at 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, and closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23.

The auction features more than 40 packages, including one-, two- and three-day wine country experiences, wine dinners, wine club memberships and limited-production wines. Packages range from vineyard tours and special tastings to overnight getaways, culinary experiences and rare, library, magnum and allocation-only wines.

Proceeds benefit the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance Foundation Scholarship Program. Over the past five years, the program has awarded 67 scholarships totaling $148,000, with funds remaining in the Paso Robles wine region.

The scholarships help North San Luis Obispo County students pursue higher education and reduce financial barriers for local families.
