Paso Robles PD Report Shooting in the Area of Santa Ysabel and San Augustin

PASO ROBLES — The Paso Robles Police Department believes a shooting Thursday evening that left one man injured was gang-related.

PRPD reported the shooting occurred in the area of Santa Ysabel and San Augustin in east Paso Robles around 9:30 p.m on Thursday, Sept. 17. 

Responding officers reportedly found a man in his 30s on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital and was in stable condition as of Friday morning.

The suspect was gone prior to officers arriving.

PRPD detectives responded and are conducting an active investigation. It appears from initial evidence this shooting was gang-related.
