Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services seeks input on five-year strategic plan

PASO ROBLES — Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services is inviting residents, business owners, community organizations and other stakeholders to help shape the department’s 2027-2032 Strategic Plan during a community workshop Aug. 22.

The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to noon in the Emergency Operations Center at the Paso Robles Public Safety Center, 900 Park St. Community input will help identify priorities and long-term goals for the department over the next five years.

Participants will hear an update on the department’s current strategic plan and have an opportunity to share ideas, concerns and priorities for the future.

The new strategic plan will address areas including fire and emergency response, emergency medical services, community risk reduction and prevention, disaster preparedness, training and workforce development, equipment and facilities, fiscal responsibility and community partnerships.

“Community input is an essential part of this process and helps ensure the department’s priorities reflect the needs and expectations of those we serve,” said Chief Jonathan Stornetta. “We look forward to sharing an update on our progress under the current strategic plan and listening to community members about how we can continue to provide exceptional services.”
