Film Noir Night to feature classic The Sting in Paso Robles

PASO ROBLES — Park Cinemas will host a Film Noir Night screening of the 1973 classic The Sting at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, in downtown Paso Robles.

Starring Robert Redford, Paul Newman, Robert Shaw, Ray Walston, Eileen Brennan and Charles Durning, The Sting follows a grifter and veteran con artist who team up to swindle a homicidal racketeer through an elaborate racetrack scam set in 1930s Chicago.

The comedy is known for its stylish production, witty story and memorable soundtrack. The film won seven Academy Awards and received a Golden Globe nomination.

Tickets are $20 online, plus a small service fee, or at the box office. Reserved seating is recommended.
