Paso Robles extends swim lessons and aquatics programs through August

PASO ROBLES — The City of Paso Robles Recreation Services is extending its private swim lesson program through Aug. 27, giving children and adults additional opportunities to improve their swimming skills before summer comes to an end.

Now in its second year, the extended program offers one-on-one instruction for swimmers ages 3 and older at the Municipal Pool, located at 534 28th St. Lessons are offered in one-week sessions, Monday through Thursday, with each session lasting 30 minutes.

Registration for the August sessions opened Aug. 1 and is available online at prcity.com/recreation

“Our swim instructors are excited to be able to continue teaching swim lessons again this year. They really enjoy being able to help kids and adults feel more comfortable and  confident in the water,” said Aquatics Coordinator, V. Teeter.

In addition to private lessons, the City's popular SKWIM and Aqua Jam fitness programs will also move to the Municipal Pool for the remainder of the season.

Lunchtime SKWIM and Aqua Jam classes will continue, and evening Aqua Jam classes have been added to the schedule.
