PASO ROBLES — Local author Tony Ventimiglio, a Central Coast resident since retiring in 2024, has released a new memoir reflecting on faith, resilience, and his ongoing battle with Stage 4 prostate cancer.
Ventimiglio, who has lived in Paso Robles with his wife Andrea, was diagnosed in 2020 and says the book was written during the course of his illness, drawing directly from personal journals rather than retrospective reflection.
His memoir, It’s A Glorious Day: A Memoir in Reflections, explores his experience living with a serious diagnosis and focuses on themes of perseverance and faith.
“This book is for anyone who has ever been handed something they didn’t ask for and had to figure out how to carry it,” Ventimiglio said. “For me, that was a Stage 4 diagnosis. I wanted people to know they are not alone in the fight.”
Ventimiglio, who built a career in consumer lending, mortgage lending, and executive recruiting before retiring, now writes from the Central Coast while continuing treatment.
The book is available in hardback, paperback and Kindle through Amazon at amazon.com/author/tonyventimiglio
