Atascadero senior goalie Noah Meade is our Atascadero News and Paso Robles Press Athlete of the Year. Meade helped lead the Atascadero Greyhounds to their first-ever CIF Central Section championship game and state regional this season. Meade anchored the Hounds stingy defense, recording 380 saves on the year and holds the school’s all-time saves record with 823 in his career.
Meade had his best games in the Hounds’ biggest moments constantly making game-changing saves and held Kingsburg to only two goals in a 5-2 victory which sent Atascadero to their first-ever championship final.
