City to host special meeting on vision and strategic plan

PASO ROBLES — The City of Paso Robles will hold a special City Council meeting on Wednesday, May 6, at 6 p.m. in the Norris Room at Centennial Park to review the city’s proposed Vision Statement, Strategic Work Plan, and key outcomes from its recent visioning process.

The proposed vision — “We envision a welcoming and thriving community with a diverse economy and quality jobs that empower every generation to build their future here in Paso Robles” — is intended to guide long-term decision-making, organizational priorities, and citywide collaboration.

City staff have developed the Strategic Work Plan as a roadmap combining goals and initiatives drawn from master plans, departmental strategies, and previous studies. The plan is designed to help implement City Council priorities, improve coordination across departments, and align with the fiscal year 2026–2028 budget cycle.

Community members are encouraged to attend and provide input as the framework continues to be refined before final adoption at a future meeting.
