TEMPLETON — The Templeton Women’s Charitable Club is celebrating 113 years of supporting education and charitable efforts in North San Luis Obispo County with a series of spring fundraisers, highlighted by its annual Spring Tea & Silent Auction on Wednesday, April 1.
The Spring Tea doubles as a fundraiser and membership drive, inviting community members to connect while bidding on donated items and curated baskets. Proceeds benefit TWCC’s scholarship program and charitable giving throughout the region. Women interested in joining the long-standing organization are encouraged to attend to learn more about its mission and meet current members.
Additional spring events include:
- Drive-Thru Lasagna Dinner Fundraiser — Wednesday, March 11. Family-style meals for four, prepared by Bonnie Marie Catering, are $60 with orders due by March 1. Proceeds support TWCC’s local initiatives.
- Spring Fashion Exchange — Thursday, March 19, at Upscale Resale Women's Designer Consignor Boutique, promoting sustainability while raising funds for community causes.
“These events reflect the heart of our organization,” said TWCC President MeShawn Dimos. “For 113 years, women in this community have come together to invest in education, support local needs, and strengthen North County.”
The club is seeking silent auction donations from local businesses and residents. Media outlets are invited to cover events or interview TWCC leadership.
