Templeton FFA to dedicate new Swine Barn in honor Jerry Clark

TEMPLETON — The Templeton FFA chapter will celebrate the completion of its new swine barn with a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony on Saturday, June 20, at 1 p.m. at the Templeton Agriculture Farm.

The new facility was made possible through funding from an AgWest Farm Credit grant and is designed to expand hands-on learning opportunities for students enrolled in Templeton High School’s agricultural education program.

The event will also honor Jerry Clark for his longstanding contributions to agricultural education and the Templeton FFA program. Organizers said the facility dedication recognizes Clark’s years of mentorship and support for students pursuing careers in agriculture.

"We are grateful to AgWest Farm Credit for investing in the future of agricultural education and helping create opportunities for our students," said Superintendent Dr. Edd Bond. "This facility will serve Templeton FFA members for years to come, while honoring the legacy of Jerry Clark and his commitment to student success."

Community members, alumni, supporters, and agricultural partners are invited to attend the ceremony and celebrate the milestone for Templeton FFA and local agricultural education.
