PRJUSD appoints Doreen Castillo as Director of Data, Assessment and Plan Alignment

PASO ROBLES — Paso Robles Joint Unified School District has announced the appointment of Doreen Castillo as the district’s new director of district data, assessment and plan alignment.
Castillo brings more than 18 years of administrative experience in educational leadership, including service as a principal at the high school, junior high, intermediate school, and county office of education levels.
District officials said Castillo has been recognized for her leadership with honors, including Administrator of the Year for her school district and top administrator in Madera County.
"We are thrilled to welcome an administrator of Doreen’s caliber to our leadership team," said Erin Haley, Assistant Superintendent. "Her extensive background, proven track record of excellence, and deeply collaborative philosophy will be invaluable as we work together to support student achievement."
In her new role, Castillo will oversee district data systems, student assessments, and strategic alignment of educational plans aimed at supporting student achievement and districtwide collaboration.
As she steps into her new role, Mrs. Castillo is focused on a clear, student-centered mission, "My primary goal is to support the school sites in developing clear plans aligned with the district to improve student achievement. My strength is building relationships and coming alongside colleagues to reach those goals."
