PASO ROBLES — Paso Robles educator Megan Wortman has been named the 2026 Special Education Impact Award recipient in the elementary teacher category by the San Luis Obispo County Special Education Local Plan Area in partnership with its Community Advisory Committee.
The annual award recognizes individuals across the county who demonstrate exceptional dedication, innovative teaching practices, and a strong commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs. Wortman, who teaches within the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District, was selected through a competitive countywide nomination process.
District officials praised her for the care, expertise, and passion she brings to her students and families each day.
Wortman will be formally recognized at a Paso Robles Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees meeting on April 28.
