PASO ROBLES — The Paso Robles Lions Club recognized outstanding high school athletes at its Winter Sportsmanship Awards Banquet on Tuesday, Feb. 24.

Each Paso Robles High School winter sports team selected one student athlete to receive the award, honoring excellence in character, work ethic, leadership, and sportsmanship. The award has been presented by the Lions Club annually since 1946.

This year’s recipients included Jackson Heinbach, Emilio Acevedo, Kingston Lacy, Fiona Blythe, Kallie Gatoloai, Julia Cox, Janely Rendon, Brody Flynn, Colton Packer, Giovanny Escalera Rojas, Leslie Guardado, Mayte Rendon, Caylee Lamb, Mason Pollak, Domenick Huffman, and Perseuz Montoya.
