Fire officials announce weed abatement inspections

PASO ROBLES — Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services will begin annual weed abatement inspections on May 12 as part of efforts to reduce wildfire risk.

Property owners are required to clear combustible vegetation and debris across all areas of their property, including yards and adjacent spaces. Officials say maintaining defensible space helps protect homes and prevent fire spread throughout the community.
