Dr. Curt Dubost joins Almond Acres Charter Academy Board of Directors

PASO ROBLES — Almond Acres Charter Academy has announced the appointment of longtime educator Dr. Curt Dubost as its newest community member on the Board of Directors.

Almond Acres is a public, tuition-free charter school in Paso Robles serving students in grades K-8. Dubost brings decades of experience in education, having served as a teacher, principal and superintendent, most recently with the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District. He holds a doctorate in education administration and has been involved with Almond Acres since its early days in San Miguel.

“Having been a part of their original inception, I’m honored to again be involved in Almond Acres,” said Dr. Debost. “There’s nothing better than helping children love to learn.”

Dr. Joseph Ledoux, executive director of Almond Acres, praised the appointment.

“We are thrilled to have Dr. Dubost on our Almond Acres Charter Academy Board," Ledoux said. "Dr. Dubost was a big proponent when the school was just starting out in San Miguel. Curt is an outstanding educator with a long and distinguished career in education. He understands what it takes to sustain a high-performing organization that addresses academics and the whole child.”
