Boys & Girls Clubs to host ‘Standing With Youth’ advocacy event in Paso Robles

PASO ROBLES — Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast will host its advocacy event, “Standing With Youth,” later this month to highlight trends affecting young people in San Luis Obispo County.

The informational luncheon will take place Thursday, March 26, at 11:30 a.m. at the Tom Maas Clubhouse, located at 3301 Oak St. in Paso Robles.

The event will feature a panel discussion with BGCMCC CEO Maria Fabula, Paso Robles Joint Union School District Superintendent Jennifer Loftus, and San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors District 5 Supervisor Heather Moreno. Speakers will discuss the current landscape for youth across the county and the challenges they face.

The organization previously hosted a “Standing With Youth” event earlier this year at its Railroad Clubhouse in Santa Maria, focusing on ways the community can support youth development.

The Paso Robles event is sponsored by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Central Coast Foundation. Community members are encouraged to attend, and registration is free online.
