Templeton to host free seed swap Jan. 31

TEMPLETON — The Multiflora Garden Club will host a free seed swap on Saturday, Jan. 31, from 9 a.m. to noon at 601 S. Main St. in Templeton, near the Farmers Market.

The event will feature approximately 3,000 packets of free flower, vegetable, and herb seeds available to the public. Seed-starting kits will also be offered to youth while supplies last.

Master Gardeners and members of the Native Plant Society will be on hand to answer gardening questions and offer tips for successful planting. Attendees are welcome to bring seeds to share, though participation does not require bringing seeds.
