UPDATE: Based on the latest information from Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), power is expected to remain out for the remainder of the day while repairs are being made.
As a result, the Paso Robles City Library will remain closed for the rest of the day. The main City Hall lobby is also closed.
PASO ROBLES — A power outage on Monday, Nov. 17, temporarily closed portions of Paso Robles City Hall and the Paso Robles City Library. Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) is aware of the issue and is working to restore electricity, with power currently estimated to return by approximately 1:15 p.m.
While the main City Hall lobby is closed, key City Hall services operating out of the City Council Chambers due to an ongoing upstairs remodel remain open. These services include utility billing, development permitting, and the City Clerk’s office. Residents can access them through the south-facing doors of the chambers by following posted signage.
The Paso Robles City Library is fully closed until power is restored, and normal operations can safely resume. City staff will reopen all affected facilities as soon as conditions allow.
Residents are encouraged to check prcity.com and the City’s official social media channels for the latest updates.
