PASO ROBLES — Paso Wine Fest reported strong attendance across its three-day weekend of events held May 15–17, drawing nearly 3,500 ticketed guests and reaffirming its role as a major showcase for Paso Robles Wine Country.
Organized by the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance, the festival featured the Grand Tasting, Paired Paso wine and food competition, and Sparkling Paso brunch event. Officials said attendees traveled from 38 states, with about 66% coming from outside San Luis Obispo County and nearly 65% attending for the first time.
“Paso Wine Fest continues to grow and attract new audiences each year, proving there is still strong excitement around wine when it’s paired with authentic experiences and a sense of place,” said Joel Peterson, CEO of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance. “Paso Robles brings together incredible wine, great food, welcoming hospitality, and a fun, genuine community, and people want to be part of that energy.”
The sold-out Paired Paso competition featured 11 winery and chef teams. Award winners included Cairjn Wine Cellars with Chef Candice Custodio of Club Sup Sup for Judges’ Choice, and a tie for People’s Choice between Le Cuvier Winery and Tobin James Cellars.
The Grand Tasting brought together 127 wineries, along with restaurants, breweries, distilleries, and local vendors, while the Sparkling Paso event concluded the weekend with a sold-out brunch at Paris Valley Road Estate Winery.
