Paso Robles Joint Unified School District honors 2026 Employees of the Year

PASO ROBLES — Paso Robles Joint Unified School District recognized its 2026 Districtwide Employees of the Year during a celebration honoring staff members from across the district.
According to the district, honorees were selected by their colleagues through a multi-step process that began at individual school sites before advancing to districtwide consideration. Additional recognition categories included Student Support Services Employee of the Year, Administrator of the Year, and Rookie of the Year.
“These employees represent the very best of PRJUSD,” said Superintendent Jennifer Loftus. “They lead with dedication, and their impact is felt by students, families, and colleagues across our district. We are proud to celebrate their service and the many ways they help our students discover their strengths, build resilience, and thrive.”
Alex Huggins was named District Teacher of the Year for her work at Lewis Flamson Junior High School, where she teaches leadership, AVID, and English language development. The district also recognized her role as activities director and her involvement in student programs and campus events.
Tracey Cagliero, librarian at Georgia Brown Dual Immersion School, received the District Classified Employee of the Year award for her support of students and staff.
Brandon Duncan, principal of Lewis Flamson Junior High School, was named Administrator of the Year for his leadership and collaborative approach to supporting students and staff.
Jennifer Asadoor earned Student Support Services Employee of the Year honors for her mentorship and support of elementary educators throughout the district.
Gabrielle Mahfood, a transitional kindergarten teacher at Kermit King Elementary School, was recognized as Rookie of the Year for her work supporting the district’s youngest students during her first year with PRJUSD.
District officials congratulated all nominees and honorees, noting that their dedication and service continue to make a lasting impact on students throughout the district.
