SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — On Saturday, March 14, Trenidad Castilleja, 48, was pronounced deceased at the San Luis Obispo County Jail after being found in medical distress during routine medication distribution.
According to a press release from the SLO County Sheriff's Office, jail and health staff immediately attempted CPR and life-saving measures until paramedics arrived, but Castilleja remained unresponsive and was pronounced dead at approximately 8:59 p.m.
