Hope Family Wines named official wine partner of California Mid-State Fair

PASO ROBLES — Hope Family Wines has been named the Official Wine Partner of the California Mid-State Fair Hospitality Tent, bringing Paso Robles wines and interactive experiences to one of the Central Coast's largest annual events.

The Paso Robles winery is offering a selection of wines from its portfolio while transforming the Hospitality Tent with wine country-inspired displays and photo opportunities designed to celebrate the region's agricultural heritage.

“The California Mid-State Fair is an iconic showcase for the small-town spirit, agricultural heritage and world-class attractions of Paso Robles and the Central Coast,” said Owner-Winemaker Austin Hope. “I’ve been going to the fair since I was a kid, and it means a lot to me personally to be actively involved with our family winery.”

Among the attractions is a full-size stationary "bull" displayed by the winery's Troublemaker brand for photo opportunities, along with large backdrops featuring Austin Hope welcoming visitors to Paso Robles and a display proclaiming, "Real Cowboys Drink Cabernet." Hope Family Wines selections will also be available at additional locations throughout the fairgrounds.

The Mid-State Fair partnership continues a year of community involvement for the winery. In May, the Austin Hope Charity Golf Tournament raised $167,000 for Must! Charities. Earlier this year, Hope Family Wines became the official wine partner of the Vina Robles Amphitheatre, and in June, Austin Hope received the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance's Spirit of Paso award, recognizing individuals who embody the character of Paso Robles Wine Country.

“Paso Robles has given me more than I could ever give back,” Hope said. “It has taught me the value of hard work and the importance of community over competition. At Hope Family Wines, we are proud to be born, grown and made in Paso Robles.”
