City Hall remodel prompts immediate changes to public access routes

PASO ROBLES — The City of Paso Robles announced that new public access routes to City Hall and the library take effect immediately as construction continues on the City Hall renovation project. The changes are designed to maintain public access to services while keeping visitors safely separated from active construction areas.
Under the new layout, access to the Paso Robles Library and public restrooms is now available through the double doors facing 11th Street. Visitors needing City services will use the temporary public service counter, accessible through the double doors from the 10th Street parking lot. Through-access between the City Hall and library lobbies is suspended for the duration of construction.
Beginning Friday, Nov. 21, portions of the City Hall parking lot will also close to accommodate construction activity. The city has released a site plan to help direct visitors to the appropriate entrances.
Officials say the temporary pathways will ensure services remain fully operational while minimizing interactions between the public and construction crews. All phone numbers and email contacts for city departments remain the same.
