City announces Sierra Bonita Street repairs funded by Measure I-24

PASO ROBLES — The City of Paso Robles Public Works Department has announced the start of street repair work in the Sierra Bonita neighborhood, funded by Measure I-24, a supplemental sales tax approved by voters in November 2024.

Sierra Bonita, a residential neighborhood developed in the late 1970s, has experienced gradual street deterioration over the years and was prioritized as part of the City’s pavement rehabilitation program. In preparation for the project, the City completed curb ramp upgrades using Community Development Block Grant funds and water service improvements supported by the Water Enterprise Fund.

The upcoming work will include targeted repairs in the most worn areas, as well as full pavement overlays aimed at restoring street quality and extending the lifespan of the roadways.

Granite Construction Company is scheduled to begin work in March, with completion anticipated by fall. Temporary “No Parking” signs will be posted throughout the construction zone.
