Cheri H. Adams 1946-2026

Cheri Hammack Adams, a lifelong resident of Paso Robles, California, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born on May 29, 1946, at Atascadero Hospital, Cheri attended Paso Robles High School and spent her life in the community she loved. She worked for many years with the City of Paso Robles, where she formed lasting friendships and was known for her kind heart and warm smile.

Cheri found joy in life's simple pleasures—reading a good book, spending time with her beloved cats, and making memories with family and friends. She especially loved traveling with her husband, Bob, in their motorhome, exploring new places and sharing adventures together.

Cheri shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, James Robert "Bob" Adams. Their love and devotion were evident to all who knew them. Though Bob preceded her in death in 2024, there is comfort in knowing they are reunited once again.

Cheri is lovingly remembered by her stepdaughters, Dawn Adams and Jamie Adams, along with extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert "Bob" Adams, and her infant daughter, Lisa Susan Lewis.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Park Place and the hospice team for the compassionate care they provided to Cheri.

A private celebration of Cheri's life will be held with family.

Cheri will be remembered for her warmth, gentle spirit, love of family, and adventurous heart. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
