Charity Golf Tournament to Benefit Parents for Joy

The community of San Luis Obispo County is invited to golf, eat, drink and play on September 28 at the 2019 Charity Golf Tournament, hosted by the Atascadero State Hospital. All proceeds will benefit Parents for Joy, an Atascadero non-profit organization that recently built Joy Playground, an all inclusive playground for children with special needs. The Haven, the central coast’s only residential detox and addiction treatment center, is announced as the official sponsor.
This year is the first year The Haven will be sponsoring the 2019 Charity Golf Tournament. “As the major sponsor for this event, The Haven is proud to bring the community together for a great cause,” said Christina Lykens, Director of Strategic and Network Development at The Haven. “It is especially rewarding knowing we are supporting children within our community.”
The 2019 Charity Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Avila Beach Golf Resort, 6464 Ana Bay Rd. Registration starts at $99. The registration package includes:
- One round of golf and a cart
- Breakfast and lunch
- Polo shirt
- Chance to win $10,000 and a new car
The schedule of events includes:
- 7:30am Driving range opens
- 8:00am Registration and breakfast
- 9:00am Golfers to their carts
- 9:15am Shotgun start
