SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 38-year-old Kevin Coulombe of San Luis Obispo in connection with the sexual exploitation of a minor.
On February 18, detectives served a search warrant at Coulombe’s residence, his vehicle, and California Polytechnic State University, where he is employed as an instructor. Coulombe faces multiple charges, including contacting a minor with intent to have sex and arranging a meeting with a minor for sexual purposes.
Further investigation revealed that Coulombe previously worked as a teacher at San Luis Obispo High School and Menlo-Atherton High School prior to his employment at Cal Poly.
