Mid-State Moto Mania erupts

Dirt track racing hits the Paso Robles Event Center in September

Moto Mania will offer two different types of racing. Short Track Racing with a $2000 Pro Purse. This includes classes of Open Pro, Open Vintage, Open Sportsman and Upright Vintage Speedway. Class C tires are required for the Short Track. A T.T. (Tourist Trophy) race that includes turns and a jump. This is open traction and knobby tires are allowed. All types of classes from youth to senior. All pit passes are $25. There will be food and drinks for purchase, along with a variety of vendors.  Please no outside food and drink. Also this will be a cash only event. An ATM will be located inside the fairgrounds. Rider gates open at 9 a.m. Sign ups are 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Riders meeting 11 a.m. Practice at noon and racing to start at 3 p.m. Also happening will be a fun T-T backwards race (opposite direction) and a double-up race (with partner racers riding together on the same bike). This event holds a special place in many hearts around this area and beyond. We lost a local racer and businessman Joey Brown last year. His passion for motorcycles has been passed down to his family and friends. Godspeed Joey Brown 19z. May you be watching down on this fun day and be smiling.
