More than a dozen local businesses will join forces to bring the 2019-2020 Paso Robles High School Bearcat sports program to the Voice of Paso (VOP), the city’s online radio station, according to station owner/operator Steve Martin.

“It’s year three on the VOP,” said Martin. “We’ve expanded from one online channel to four: sports, jazz, oldies and country music. We will once again cover all Bearcat football games and many other sports, too. Last year those included swimming, baseball, basketball and volleyball. We’re enthused at the response by local listeners and sponsors.”

Martin said the Bearcat football games will also be presented on Livestream video thanks to Voice of Paso videographer Dave Lambert.

The sponsors for the broadcasts of Bearcat sports include:

  • Paso Robles Country Disposal
  • Dee Lacey
  • Kennedy Club Fitness
  • Solarponics
  • Paso Magazine
  • Optometric Care Associates
  • Idler’s Home
  • Ron Mullins / Berkshire Hathaway Realty
  • Sweet Lew’s Pizza
  • Paso Robles Daily News
  • KG Communications
  • China Gourmet
  • Nancy Fiske / Platinum Properties Realty

The Voice of Paso broadcast team includes Jim Wiemann, Bill Stansbury, John Doss and Dave Lambert.

“We want everyone who listens to Bearcat sports on the Voice of Paso to either contact these sponsors and thank them, or send a note to feedback@voiceofpaso.com. It’s important that our sponsors know you are supporting them as they support our kids’ sports activities,” said Martin.
