Leader of the show jumping community and 2008 Beijing Olympic Gold Medalist will speak to attendees about the power of horses in his world and opportunities to excel
Over August 10 & 11, 2018, the Paso Robles Horse Park will open its gates for a brand-new program offering fun and education for equine enthusiasts of all levels. Expanding on the opportunity to illustrate the breadth of experiences available through horseback riding, Olympic gold medalist, Will Simpson, will be in attendance to share stories of his journey up through the riding ranks.
The Back to School Bash directly aligns with the Park’s mission of creating opportunity within the community to support relevance of the horse in today’s world and its unique ability to enhance education, health, and quality of life. Friday features a chance to ride on the world-class GGT arena footing followed by outdoor movie fun on the berm watching The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit.
Saturday features two educational tracks that cover everything from meeting your first horse to horse care to preparing to show. Will Simpson will be in attendance on Saturday signing photos and talking about his experience traveling across the world both as an individual competitor and as a member of the U.S. show jumping team.
“Working with youth and creating opportunities for anyone to experience the incredible ability of horses to impact our lives has long been a passion of mine.” Will Simpson commented, “The Park’s Back to School Bash program fosters just that sort of opportunity and is a program I’m proud to participate in.”
Horse lovers from six to one-hundred-and-six, with all levels of experience, even those that have never met a horse, are encouraged to attend on August 10 & 11, 2018, at the Paso Robles Horse Park at 3801 Hughes Parkway, Paso Robles, CA.
