Coming soon is the annual Summer Reading Teen Volunteer Program, where teens, entering grades 9-12, assist staff with program registration and craft activities. Look for the application for the summer teen program in late April. According to Library Volunteer Coordinator Suzanne Robitaille, “Community service work can help teens develop a sense of social responsibility and provide them an opportunity to apply academic learning to real human needs. It can also factor favorably into college admissions decision-making. We are thrilled to be able to offer students an opportunity to explore their interests and grow their skills in a friendly work environment.” For more information, visit prcity.com/library.
