SAN LUIS OBISPO — District 3 San Luis Obispo County Supervisor Adam Hill was taken to the hospital Wednesday for undisclosed reasons, confirmed County Administrative Officer Wade Horton Thursday.

“Out of recognition for Supervisor Hill’s right to privacy, we will not answer any questions regarding his personal health,” Horton wrote in an e-mail to the Paso Robles Press.

Hill was recently re-elected for a fourth term as the county supervisor for District 3. Hill is a former Cal Poly instructor and in his capacity as County Supervisor, Hill has served on the County Homeless Services Oversight Council, the Council of Governments, the Regional Transportation Authority, the Integrated Waste Management Authority and the Air Pollution Control District. He also co-chaired the first county-wide public-private Economic Development Project.
