Following its tremendously successful opening, Sensorio, an immersive new destination located in Paso Robles, California, announces a Locals Season Pass for unlimited admissions to Bruce Munro: Field of Light at Sensorio, now through January 5, 2020. Field of Light at Sensorio has been welcomed by media, calling it “the future of public wellness” (Forbes) and a “pilgrimage-worthy art escape” that is “meant to complement, never compete or detract, from the beauty of the landscape” (Travel + Leisure). Locals Season Passes, offered to residents of San Luis Obispo County, will be sold during event hours only (see below) at the Sensorio Box Office, 4380 Highway 46 East, Paso Robles. Upon purchase, patrons are required to show Photo ID and proof of residency in SLO County. For more information, the public may visit SensorioPaso.com or call (805) 226-4287. Sensorio’s new app, “Sensorio Paso,” has also launched. Guests can download the FREE app on iPhone and Android for an enhanced experience at Bruce Munro: Field of Light at Sensorio.
Bruce Munro has created a 15-acre Field of Light hosting an array of over 58,800 stemmed spheres lit by fiber-optics and Sensorio offers visitors an unparalleled immersive experience in a breathtaking otherworld. Bruce Munro: Field of Light at Sensorio is larger in size than any other Munro exhibition internationally, and is Munro’s first US exhibit entirely powered by solar. Other amenities include refreshments, live music nightly, and an exclusive VIP Terrace option offering a spectacular view while dining.
Sensorio, the intersection of art, technology, and nature, has been designed as a destination for entertainment, exploration, meditation, adventure, and delight. Sensorio will honor the natural topography of the landscape and offer a wide range of amusing, mystical, and kinetic experiences. The Central California destination launched with the interactive light installation by Bruce Munro, as other exhibits and buildings are put into place for an expected opening in two to three years. Future developments at Sensorio will include a hotel and conference resort.
